Booster Club:
The Academic Booster Club (ABC) was formed in January 1997. At that time a group of energetic educators, students, parents, board members, and community leaders met with the objective of promoting academic excellence. The group convened several times in order to establish a mission statement and a set of goals. The purpose of the organization is to elevate academic achievement and encourage harder study among all Wallington students.
Mission Statement Our mission is to promote and acknowledge academic achievement, continuous improvement and citizenship for all students. It is our intent to foster a spirit of commitment to this effort in the Wallington community.
Goals and Objectives
1. Improve overall academic performance and citizenship by stimulating intrinsic motivation and an appreciation for lifelong learning. 2. Foster pride in academic achievement and recognize those who succeed. 3. Provide incentives and recognition programs for all students across all departments. 4. Increase parent and community awareness, support and involvement. 5. Acknowledge the accomplishments of alumni, faculty and staff. 6. Engage in fundraising activities in order to provide scholarships, sponsor trips, develop programs and other worthy projects.
