Dr. James J. Albro, Superintendent of Schools

I have been an educator for over 20 years, having begun my teaching career as a grade 8 Social Studies teacher in Plainfield, NJ.  I spent 10 years as a Social Studies teacher at Wallington High School and was  also the department supervisor from 2001-2009.  I moved on to the Fort Lee Public School district from 2009-2012 and worked as a Vice Principal first at the Lewis F. Cole Middle School, and then at Fort Lee High School.  In the Fall of 2012 I was fortunate enough to return to Wallington Public Schools to replace retired High School Principal Dr. Joseph Pompeo.  I currently serve as Superintendent of Schools after being appointed to that position in January of 2014.

I attained my Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from St. Peter's College in 2000, and most recently completed my Ed.D also at St Peter's University.
