Mr. Brian Svetz
Hello and thank you for visiting my page! I am in my 14th year of teaching the Life sciences at Wallington High School, 11 th year of coaching Track and Field and 2nd year of coaching Bowling. I love teaching and coaching, as they are the foundations of building a strong and successful future for our students. I believe that every student deserves a chance, and I do my very best to offer that chance to each and every student in the classroom and on the playing field.
The current classes I teach include two sections of Honors Biology, one section of AP/MC Biology and two sectios of Human Anatomy/Physiology.
I have also taught Environmental Science classes and a General Chemistry class here a WHS before moving on to the Biology position.
My track and field work started as an assistant coach to the Sprinting and Jumping events. Now as the head coach of our Track and Field program, I coach the throwing events and make sure all of our specialties are running smoothly. Along with our assistant coaches, John Slanina and Juan Pachon, our Track and Field Program works at staying very competitive in our league.
Now in my second year as Bowling coach, I look to improve on last year with more knoweldge and skills to become more competitive in our league. I had the priviledge of succeeding my old high school Bowling coach, who had given me the tools to be successful in this position.
I look forward to a great school year and competitive sports seasons ahead!!
