Mr. Barry Blauvelt

As a W.H.S. graduate in 1992, I returned to teach at my alma mater in 2006.  Prior to joining the staff at W.H.S. I was employed as a Health/Physical Education Instructor at Lodi High School from 1999-2006 and at Maywood Avenue School from 1998-1999.  Prior to that I was employed by the Carroll County Board of Education working at Westminster Elementary School and Francis Scott Key High School.  After graduating from W.H.S. I enrolled at Albright College and then in 1994 I transferred to Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) in which I played football and participated in the track and field program.  I received my B.A. in Exercise Science and Physical Education in 1996 and my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from New Jersey City University in 2005.

In addition to my teaching duties, I am also the Head Football Coach for the Panthers since 2009 after serving as an assistant under Mr. Albro from 2004.  Prior to 2004 I was  an assistant coach at Lodi High School.  I have also been a Head Girls' Basketball Coach (Wallington H.S. and Lodi H.S.) as well as a Head Girls' Lacrosse Coach (I.H.A. and Wayne Valley H.S.)
