The Wallington High School Chapter of Glamour Gals was tied for the most journaling this service year with another high school from New York. 85% of the girls in the chapter have written at least one journal. The journals are normally written after a makeover to reflect or based on prompts they have to discuss their volunteering experience.
Multiple Wallington High School Students have distinguished themselves with strong scores on Advanced Placement Tests. Our 2018 Valedictorian, Alexis Russo Heinick, earned the College Board's prestigious "AP Scholar Award" which is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

Welcome back to all of our staff, families and children after the December break.
During the month of January, our Grade 6 students will be participating in the North Jersey Spelling Bee. Each Grade 6 homeroom will compete with each other until a school champion is chosen to represent our elementary schools in the semi-finals at the Bergen Community College in March. This is always an exciting event for our students and staff at the Wallington Elementary Schools.
Additionally, the Grade 2 students will enjoy the "Footprints For Life" program that will teach our students important life skills through the use of puppet presentations.
The Wallington P.T.A. will be holding a meeting on January 16th, 7P.M. at the Frank W. Gavlak School to plan and discuss the exciting programs that will take place during the upcoming months. We invite parents and teachers to attend this important meeting.
Please be aware that both elementary schools will be closed on January 21st for professional development activities for our teaching staff and that the second marking period will end on January 28th with follow-up conferences in February.
May the new year ahead be a healthy, happy and a prosperous one for all of our Wallington families.
