Wallington Chapter of Glamour Gals Receives National Recognition

The Wallington High School Chapter of Glamour Gals was tied for the most journaling this service year with another high school from New York. 85% of the girls in the chapter have written at least one journal. The journals are normally written after a makeover to reflect or based on prompts they have to discuss their volunteering experience.

Our faculty advisors to this club are Mrs. Mary Bartlett and Ms. Stephanie Regetz. They are happy to have a group of volunteers that not only do so much good work but are able to reflect on it in a meaningful way. Also, 9 of the volunteers earned the Intergenerational Service Award which is earned when a volunteer has fifteen hours of service as well as 5 journals written. Only about the top 10% of volunteers earn that award. Club members included Manilyn Samano, Wiktoria Domagala, Lucero Baldeon, Breanna Conde, Ashley Proano, Audrey Proano, Yexenia Osorio, Bhumiben Patel and Samantha Dabal.
