WHS Students Excel on Advanced Placement Tests

Multiple Wallington High School Students have distinguished themselves with strong scores on Advanced Placement Tests. Seven members of the Class of 2020 earned the College Board's prestigious "AP Scholar Award" which is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. Our 2020 Valedictorian, Neil Patel, earned a 3 or higher on six exams: Biology, Calculus, Computer Science, English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition and United States History. He is the first student in school history to achieve this. Other seniors who earned this distinction are Nicole Szponar, Nicole Konefal, Perla Malki, Matthew Markulis, Alicja Sadecka, and Matthew Weinberg. In addition, eleven members of the Class of 2021 earned a 3 or higher on the two Advanced Placement courses that we offer in Grade 11: English Language and Composition and United States History. The Juniors who earned this honor are Martyna Czucha, Olivia Grych, Daniel Grzebalski, Eliana Guzman, Christian Homa, Malgorzata Kielska, Magdalena Lejawa, Amr Mahmoud, Ghinnett Portella, Melanie Reyes and Emily Vasquez.
