Due to the forecast for adverse weather conditions overnight, all Wallington Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 23, 2026. All before- and after-school programs are also cancelled.
Additionally, the Board of Education meeting scheduled for February 23, 2026 has been cancelled. The next scheduled meeting will be held on March 9, 2026.
Custodial staff should report for their normal shifts at their assigned locations.

Important Update for NJ Families! The State of New Jersey has passed new legislation to educate public school parents about Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and autoantibody screenings.
Early identification is key to reducing life-threatening complications, and now families have better access to critical information.
The Diabetes Foundation has created a flyer, vetted by the New Jersey Department of Health and the Governor’s office, which is now available on the New Jersey Department of Education website.
It covers:
✅ What T1D is and how it affects the body
✅ Risk factors and early symptoms
✅ Screening options, including free at-home kits
✅ Guidance for managing diabetes at school. Early awareness saves lives. Share the flyer with parents and caregivers—knowledge is the first step in protecting our children.
