📵 BELL TO BELL: A NEW SCHOOL YEAR REQUIREMENT
In accordance with New Jersey P.L. 2025, c. 195 (N.J.S.A. 18A:36-40a & 18A:36-40b) and guidance issued by the New Jersey Department of Education, all New Jersey public school districts are required to adopt and implement a policy prohibiting the use of personal internet-enabled devices during the school day.
This 2026–2027 school year, Wallington Public Schools will continue to implement its Bell-to-Bell Policy in accordance with this statewide requirement.
Personal internet-enabled devices must be turned off and not in use for the entire school day — including lunch — from the first bell to the last bell.

South Jersey Service Academy Information Day this upcoming Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey. This event is for students who may be interested in attending a military service academy, such as West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, or the Coast Guard Academy, and learning more about the process of obtaining a congressional nomination. Family members, teachers, administrators, and coaches are also welcome to attend.

Olejarz Scholars: Where Are They Now? 🎓🎓🎓
Join us as we celebrate Wallington’s 250th Celebration with a fun-filled Patriotic Parade on Saturday, June 20th! We are inviting residents, families, teams, organizations, clubs, businesses, and community groups to march and show off their community spirit.
Decorate your bikes, wagons, strollers, golf carts, or floats in red, white, and blue or dress up in patriotic or historical-themed costumes! Whether you want to walk with friends, represent an organization, or create a festive float, we would love to have you participate.
Parade begins at 5:00 PM
Community Picnic at 6:00 PM
Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Prizes will be awarded for best entries!
There is no cost to participate, but all groups and participants must register in advance.
Please share with friends, family, teams, and local organizations to help make this a memorable community event for everyone!

Due to continued extreme temperatures the students at the Wallington Junior-Senior High School will operate on a single-session schedule tomorrow, Tuesday May 20th.
Please note that Jefferson School and Gavlak School will operate on their regular schedules.

Recent changes in New Jersey law now permit 17 year olds to vote in primary elections if they will turn 18 by Election Day. You must register to vote by May 12, 2026, to do so.

Looking for an incredible summer experience that blends sports, science, and hands-on building? The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center is thrilled to announce scholarship opportunities for our BaseBuild STEM TEEN Camp!
We’ve opened up limited scholarship spots for rising 6th graders and up. This is your chance to join a premier STEM program at a fraction of the cost.

Cost: Only $50.00 for a full TWO-WEEK session!
