Today marks a solemn anniversary, the remembrance of the September 11th attacks.
On this day, we honor the lives lost and the enduring impact of that tragic event.
The number of Wallington High School passing exam scores on Advanced Placement Exams nearly doubled during the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 72 exam scores of 3 or higher. Furthermore, this is the highest number of passing exam scores in school history. In addition, Eight members of the Class of 2024 earned the distinction of “Advanced Placement Scholar” for earning passing scores in three or more exams: Luis DeOlmo, Abigail Felten, Kaylee Gusciora, Vivien Juhasz, Kirtan Mangrolia, Elizabeth Marroquin, Emilia Zielinski and Anna Zielonka. Moreover, five members of the Class of 2025 are “Advanced Placement Scholars:” Michael Hejzner, Michael Markulis, Isabel Tinghino, Alan Widlak and Alexandra Wrobel.
These wonderful achievements would not be possible without the tireless efforts of our Advanced Placement teachers: Mr. Alessio, Mrs. Drishti, Ms. Guarino, Mr. Hourigan, Mr. Pace, Mrs. Rothstein and Mr. Svetz.
We want to remind you that there is an upcoming 7th-grade parent meeting/information session tomorrow 8/27, at 6 pm. The meeting will take place in the Olejarz Hall, which is in the back of the building, near the athletic field. All guests can enter through the back parking lot.

Congratulations Graduating Class of 2024.
Over the next few days we will be removing your Chromebook from our system. This means once your Chromebook updates you will then be able to use it with a personal Google account and it will no longer be tracked or filtered by the Wallington Public School system. Additionally, you have until August 16, 2024 to move or share any files and documents you may want to keep over to a personal Google account. On August 16, 2024 your school email account and data will be permanently deleted.

We are excited to tell you that the Wallington Jr Panthers program is back. Registration is currently open for the 2024 fall season, and we would like to share some information about the program.
We are accepting boys and girls from grades Kindergarten to 8th grade.
For those of you who may still be considering registering your child this year, we would like to share the benefits of playing football as well as the safety aspects that we incorporate into our program. See the video links below for more information.
We will also be planning a parent meeting via Zoom to answer any questions you may have. The date and time of the meeting will be posted on Facebook and Instagram.

Starting in July and continuing throughout the summer there will be some digital and technical enhancements coming to Wallington. Some of the excitement involves a new website, paired with a new parent/guardian messaging system. We are thrilled to be rolling out our very own Wallington Public Schools ‘APP’ for your personal device app and play stores. Adding Wi-Fi coverage to our baseball field, as well as installing digital information boards in all 3 of our buildings. We are thrilled about all the enhancements, with more to come and we ask that you please bear with us as we continue to move content to its new home and squashing tech bugs during our various deployments. We will be sharing additional information on each project all throughout the summer as we get closer to completion. Have a great summer!
